So my son has been at his moms for a few months so I recently got the responsibility of looking after his beardie. So I have been studying and researching like he should have done, and found it it wasn't hot enough that he had no mister, and his diet was wrong as he was getting mostly super worms and crickets and very little veggies. But now his beardie has a proper diet and his temperature is now where it should be, but he doesn't seem to shed this one spot on his back.
I read that humidity and temperature are the most likely culprits for incomplete sheds and am just wondering if maybe he hasn't had the right climate and conditions for long enough yet or if it could possibly be something else like mites or ticks? (Although I see no signs of either)
I should have paid more attention sooner, but you would think a 17 year old would take responsibility and learn what his pet requires... kids these days tho lol.... any and all information you could want or need at your finger tips here on the internet ....
Any help or advice would be appreciated, so I can further educate this kid of mine on beardies.
