Please Help! - Walking on ankle!

Flash has been walking on his ankle lately and starting today has been lifting his leg high with each step. His ankle does not seem to be broken, is there any other thing that could be contributing? I haven't given him supplements lately, but I give him phoenix worm pellets with lots of calcium. PLEASE HELP!

Lifting arm high with each step is quite normal when a lizard is not looking where it's walking , my water skinks and my beardies often did and do this.

Walking in an wrist if not all the time is just a beardie thing (too lazy to flip the hand over when walking).
BUT if all the time this may be indication of a health issue (MBD) or an injury.
