Beardie has swollen tail and discoloured

Hi guys. My partner just noticed my beardie has a section at the top of her tail just at the side which is a white/yellowish colour and it looks swollen and it seems to be bothering her. Can anyone give me any advice of what this could be or how I can help her? Thank you!

Hello,

It looks like an area that is going to shed, really. How long has it looked that way?
You mentioned that it seems to be bothering her though & is sore to touch?
Sometimes, an area which is getting ready to shed will be ultra sensitive to touch.

Hi,

Her tail shed over a month ago which is why I’ve been slightly concerned.

I’ll keep an eye on it, hopefully it’s nothing and just a part that needs to shed.

Hello,

Did that particular region of her tail shed or not?
Sometimes an area will shed over a couple of times, but, not sure why. They have some bazaar
shedding phases sometimes. Let us know how she is doing.
It doesn't look like any type of infection or fungal issue though.
