Hi guys, so I’ve had mike for a couple of months now and he’s always been healthy. He’s 3 an a half years old and from the day I got him he always stayed in the coolest area of his viv, but lately he’s been in the hottest. This is obviously fine however I woke up this morning and the top of his head looks like it is being burned, his scales have gotten the slightest bit darker and I read something about brumation but it did not say anything about burning them? Please help :(

Hello,

Do you have any pictures of the scales on top of his head? Are you sure he isn't getting ready to
shed? That is always a good possibility he is going to shed, as they tend to do when they are
slowing down.
Can you review his tank setup with us a little bit just to be sure it is all correct for him? Such as
the type/brand of UVB, substrate, supplementation & foods that are given, too.
At his age, as long as he is healthy, he should be able to successfully brumate then. Has he had
any other issues going on, before now previously?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
