Tail rot?

Hi! I am a new mom to a bearded dragon I got from the dreaded Petco. His tail looked a little funny to me when I got him and after some research I am now wondering if it's a bit of tail rot. Please help a concerned new momma ?

Ps don't mind all the skin...he's shedding like crazy!!

No tail rot, just a natural darkening toward the end which can look even darker during a shed. :)
