First time posting, second Bearded Dragon owned. I had a Bearded Dragon named Daisy for almost 12 years until she got cancer and passed away around 5 years ago. I never thought I could fill the void again.
A co-worker of mine had two Bearded Dragons that did the naughty by accident. (They were let out for wandering time, and they wandered into each other’s loving embrace.) Mama laid 10 eggs and they hatched into 10 baby beardies. They were not looking for a profit and wanted to find each of them a good home.
In comes Zuko born June 4th. At almost 3 weeks old measuring 8 inches from head to tail. With a healthy appetite of 20-30 small crickets daily (The space between their eyes). Now being introduced to small horn worms, and soon to start with Phoenix worms and discus roaches
Thanks to you guys they have the best tank setup!
Tank: 40 Gallon Breeder
UVB: Reptisun 10.0 T5 HO bulb mounted inside the tank
Heat: 100 watt basking bulb with two temp probes on each side of the tank measuring 105-108 basking and 83.5 ambient on the cool side.
The tank is a little dull but I plan on adding more once they get older. Looking forward to being apart of this community! Thank you for taking your time in reading this!
