Hi everyone;
I am not new to beardies but I must admit it has been quite awhile [YEARS] since I've owned any. My kids wanted a reptile [as if 3 dogs weren't enough!] and I always loved beardies so... here we are. Now; a little about this photo. These 2 were purchased at the same time and were the same size [the size of the smaller one]. Obviously one is growing quite well while the other is... stalled [as in there has been NO change since getting him/her]. Here's a photo of when we first got them.
We started out with a 20L and they lived together. Since then the larger [Kraken] has had many growth spurts compared to the other [Phoenix] he [was sexed yesterday] began attacking her/him[?] - 1 vet visit later and a splinted leg [ she/he will loose quite a few toes from this attack but our focus is healing the break at this point] they now live separately.
Just wanted to introduce ourselves and we'll keep you updated on Phoenix. Now... back to the drawing board [designing 2 new enclosures].
