Introducing myself

Hi!
I don't quite know how to introduce myself, but I'm a 14 year old trying to decide whether to get a beardie or not. I'm prepared to ask my parents and have a ton of info about these lizards, however I still have some questions, and don't know if one would fit in with my scedule with school and farm chores.

Some days I'm like Yay! A beardie would be great! And other days I'm very skeptical of the idea and wonder if it's even a good one...

In short I'm still on the fence, I have a small Japanese quail in my room, and a fish tank with a couple critters from the creek behind my house(the aquarium doesn't eat a lot of time, maybe 20 seconds a day)

Hoping that I'll be able to come to a decision through creating an account here!

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you're giving serous thought to caring for a dragon before diving in. They do require a fair bit of attention and proper equipment for them isn't cheap. They are incredibly rewarding and fun to have around though so I would do some reading along this site, especially the care articles along the right side of the page as well as some of the general forums. This will help give you an idea of what to expect. We can certainly address any specific questions you have as well so feel free to post them as they come to mind.

I have a bunch....I think 12(I wrote them all down lol...questions that are all about random things, from brumation to vitamins and water... I think I'm going to classify them into groups.... like all things the dragon would consume or related to food in a group so I could post it in the feeding catagory of the forum... better get to that :roll:
