New Beardie Mom introducing Toothless!

I am already a momma to a leopard gecko of 3yrs. Now I finally have my dragon say hello to Toothless. Question the pet store said no handling for 3 days is this true? I completely understand the stress factor. But what about maybe 15mins?

Hi there. Toothless looks adorable. :love5: Congratulations.

As far as handling a new beardie, it depends on how they react. Some are very nervous and handling stresses them out even more. Others are ok with it and I don't see any reason why you couldn't give it a try to see how he feels about it. Little ones can jump very quickly so please be careful about that. Let us know how it goes. :)

Tried a couple of times yesterday just in like 5 min increments with no issues. He didn't hiss or black beard me. He did open his mouth a couple of times i just popped a piece of veggie in. First full day was very interesting.

LOL I have done my homework been learning all I can the last 3yrs ;) This weekend has been an interesting one. Can't wait to give the first bath and all the other shenanigans.
