Hello all! I would like to introduce you to my new beardie Hype! Me and my Boyfriend got him back in February. We bought all the lights (heat light, UVB light, and the night time heat light) and the juvenile beardie food, I already had a tank, flooring, water and food bowls, and domes for him. Anyways, Hype has not been with us for that long obviously, but i cant help feeling like he hates me or hes not getting enough attention. He'll beard and hiss at people who will try and hold him and treat to or sometimes bite, but once I do actually manage to pick him up hes calm and loving or hes really hyper and playful and wants to run and explore the room hes in. What should I do, does it sound like he trust me, I mean hes brand new to the house so maybe hes not use to me and everyone yet im not sure. Also, at first when we first got him he didnt want to eat (which I expected because that happenes sometimes in juvenile beardies) so i fed him baby food and water from a syring, but now hes actually starting to eat on his own and I want him to start eating live food, so mainly Crickets, fruits, and veggies, and..No on Mealworms? and Wax worms as a treat or weight gainer only?
