I had a clutch of babies hatch not long ago and they're all super healthy, except one of them was born with its tail slightly shorter than everyone else.... it's also stubby, as if it was bitten off which isn't possible because it came out of the egg like that. Has anyone ever heard of this before or know what's caused it? He seems completely healthy otherwise, I'm mostly just curious. Thanks

Probably just a cosmetic birth defect. I have had them hatch out with their tail fused curled up underneath them or crooked...
Lots of genetic issues will likely crop up as time goes on. Lots of inbreeding has gone on in the last 30 years. Gene pool is pretty limited.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
