Well, my little Ganta had his vet appointment today!
They found evidence that he had a viral infection and that permanent damage had already happened to his joints!
There was an available treatment, but it would cost $622, and there was no guarantee that it would help him
Also it seems that not only could he have been sick when I got him, but the virus greatly reduced his lifespan, even if the treatment worked!
We discussed his tank set up and what he had been fed, and the vet said she could find anything wrong with how I cared for him!
So rather than let him suffer for months undergoing an expensive treatment every month, I decided to put him down today
