She has access to 10 inches to her 12% uvb?

Most of the enclosure is 15 to 18 in to the Arcadia T5 12% UVB but there is a spot in the enclosure where she can access about 10 or 11 in she doesn't stay there long but she has been going up there here and there is this bad that she know what she's doing should I eliminate the option

If you can get the distance to 12-15 inches that would be good --- 10 inches is too close and you can see by her behavior its too close if shes not staying there long

It's not her main spot everywhere else in the tank is 15 to 18 in she keeps putting herself in that 10 inch spot I'll post a picture so you know what I meanView media item 23311

So you can change the decor so shes at 12-15 inches -- the basking rock your using is it heating up real hot under that bulb--- it looks like one of those slated rocks that get real hot to touch --- I would get something like this for your basking decor pieces that one your using looks real nice but I dont see it completely and where shes sitting is the 10 inches ?

Yes where she's at in the photo is the 10 in I know my rock doesn't get real hot the ceramic tile under the rock gets hotter than it.

What's the temp at the spot she likes on that branch? As long as she can get that temp and not be that close but still chooses to get that close I would think it's ok and she would know if it was too much for her.

The log where she's sitting runs like 93 to 95 sometimes a few degrees higher it seems like she basks and then goes there she spends more time there than on her cool side

Darwin likes to bask in areas in the 90s too. Since she is actively climbing to get to that spot, and can easily move away, I'd just leave it as it is and let her go there if thats what she wants.
