Has anyone set up a bioactive tank for a bearded dragon? Looking into the Bio Dudes stuff and I'm interested. I have a 4 yr old and would like to do something more for his tank. He seems happiest when in my garden with stuff to eat and play around. Just want to make sure it's safe and would love some input before I make a costly change.

Brandon probably knows someone, there was one that used to post here regularly but I can't remember their username. There's a lot of info on Youtube, especially from the " Biodude".

Mines been in a bioactive enclosure since the first few weeks it's best for them she has a really strong immune system forsure has had a really spoiled life that's for sure. Going bioactive would be best for you and you reptile they're beautiful and mental stimulating for the Inhabitant so much more they can do in a bioactive and so much more you can do too add too it you give them much more textures. Its alittle more at first but much less work and maintenance in the long run when set it up properly Bioactive enclosures can be self sustaining for a life time they clean up shed poop and bacteria food scrapes you name it same thing that nature would do . I have alot of post made on here if any any question free to message me . Substrate mixture of something like moss, leaves , sticks , sand , topsoil , lava Rock's, charcoal, different things to retain moisture aswell as drain and other components to help with detoxifying and such everything has a purpose you'll need beneficial bacteria and fungi as well as cleaner bugs like isopods , dwarf isopods, springtails , worms and I like to use dubias for cleaners too good snack and they eat alot of stool and scrapes I have a whole dubia colony in my tank I have like 20 species of bugs in the enclosure very naturalistic

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
