How long can a Bearded Dragon go without UVB?

Hey. So, my Bearded Dragon's UVB bulb just blew. Stopped working. I'll be getting a new one soon, but it may not arrive for a week at least. Will he be fine for that long without it? And should I still offer Calcium supplements while the light is off?

Hi there, an adult is fine for a week or more and yes you would still use calcium powder. If it's a baby then they really do need the uvb. Be aware that the closer it gets to the holiday, the more possibility there is for packages to be delayed or lost. Try to borrow money to get the bulb ASAP, it's really a priority for a baby. BTW, what are the temps. where you live ? If it's warm out your problem is solved by taking dragon out for an hour every day or 2.

He is ~2 years old so he should be fine on that front. As for the temps, it's winter in Scotland and will peak at 6C over the next few days so I don't think that's an option.
