Quick question, I’ve put floor tiling down for a substrate in my beardies new tank, and I plan to put him in it in a couple of days and it dawned on me that during the night the tile probably gets pretty cold. Should I put an undertank heating pad on a night timer to keep the substrate warm through the night or will it be ok?

No heat is needed for that ---- I have tile in my tanks and it does not get cold like you think --- in the winter months I have CHE's I use to keep the tanks around 70 at nite ---- in the summer they are off and my tanks are around 70 at nite --- the dragons like the cool temps to sleep along w/ the darkness -- their metabolism slows giving them a better nites sleep

Yup the tile should hold it's temperature quite well. And it really shouldn't get cooler than the rest of the tank anyways :)

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
