I have had my beardie for a couple months now and I've already had to take him to the vet for parasites but he's good now. But I am having issues with the temperature. The hot side isn't getting to the temperature it should be during the day. I've learned from reading on here that I'm gonna have to purchase a different uvb light but I don't know what to do about the heat lamp. Please help!

Have you tried a higher wattage bulb? you really just kind of have to play around with different wattages until you find the one that works best for your set up. depending on how far off it is you may just need a few minor adjustments.
What are your temps at exactly? What wattage basking bulb are you using?

I agree that you may need to try different wattages and maybe use an adjustable lamp stand to change the height of the basking bulb or buy a dimming thermostat to keep the output in check.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
