Hello! Earlier this week I began building my first viv, which I used melamine for. I also purchased some Poplar board from Lowe's to make different level basking/lounging areas for Yoda and I wanted to know if it is necessary to bake this board before installing it. I know you have to use this method for wood that is brought in from outside, but is it necessary for wood bought from a store? Also, is it absolutely necessary to seal this kind of wood if it is only being used as shelving on the walls? Thanks in advance for any help!
