We're starting to get the 75gallon set up for a Beardie resident and today I bought the $8 24" fixture today at Walmart but when I got it home and read the packaging it says it's only rated to take up to 17watt bulbs. (It has a 75watt output though.) Will the 24" Reptisun bulb work with it or should I exchange it for a different one?
Do I have to exchange this??

Also, I was looking at the flood lights and fixtures there but I don't think I saw what was needed. I didn't see any ceramic fixtures and the only 100w flood lights I saw were halogen. Anyone know if those put out enough heat? I know I'm probably asking very noob questions but I just want to start off on the right foot.

Halogen tend to burn hotter than regular bulbs.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
