was just given 2 bearded dragons.

Ok I have a dragon I've raised from a baby and one of my wife's friends just gave me what appears to be 2 full grown dragons. One is a orange silky back. They have been housing them together. I don't know if They are make or female. I know they should be housed seperatly but they hav e been together so long. So the big question is should I separate them? Thanks for any help

Personally, I would house them separately. Once you determine their gender and are able to observe their behavior together, you might revisit the question. Rarely, 2 females can be housed together successfully given the proper space, lighting, etc.

I'm pretty sure they are both males. I'm going to separate them today and see how they act. I looked at some photos on how to determine gender and it's Pretty obvious on the silk back.

Well separated them and all is well. They are happy and love attention.

I have three girls I rescued one is four. In her first four years never had uvb. Nor many crickets was given lettuce and fed occasionally. When I got her she was 197grams she only the size of a nine month old. But now she is 290 grams I saved her from sever paralysis from being impacted. Now she is as energetic as my 13week old. Which I also saved from roommates I had I went into there room one day they picked her up by her tail broke the tip. And her food was rotten. So I kicked them out and kept her. I got lily three weeks after the baby they hated each other. I made them. Both nine foot by four foot open top enclosures lily don't like zoe. But as I'm typing this zoe is on lily and there smuggling. Unprovoked zoe just walked up and cuddled with lily and both on my lap. They still are seperate.. Just in case. But I've never seen a baby and adult that age just connect
