Potential Rescue Is Rescued!

Hooray! Good news everyone, I rescued my second beardie today. For the background story click here: http://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=126383

We (my brother and I) have decided to name him Thor. He is a big beautiful boy. I've been told he is 1 yr 5 months old with some sort of Hypo Yellow something or other. I measured him and he is 17". I gave him a nice bath and cleaned him up (he smelled pretty bad) and he seems to be doing just fine! Here are a few pictures, I will keep everyone updated over the next couple of days. Awww what a pretty boy he is!
So he checked out good health-wise then? He looks awesome, considering the circumstances! Did you get a weight on him?
And I hope you knocked some sense into his previous owner. :|

As far as I can tell he is a-o-k health wise. He was quite active once I got him home and warmed up. I practically ran laps around my room! My boyfriend has the scale so I will hopefully get it back tonight and get him weighed. As I was looking at Thor (while his owner had him in a box) his owner said "You know how to take care of these right?" I said "Yes" and wanted to add "DO YOU!??" :lol: His other two are still for sale! If anyone reading this is from the Vancouver/New West/ Richmond/ Coquitlam area in British Columbia please consider getting one!!

Haha my mother would kill me if I did! From their pictures they looked just as healthy, although the only one I have actually physically seen is him. He is more active then my other beardie Sheila! He even ate today. Guess not too much in the way of relocation stress...yet *knocks on wood*

Update: Thor is doing really well. He is eating plenty of crickets but we are trying to get him to eat a little more salad. He has quite the personality...very different from Sheila

Sounds to me like they're selling all their dragons because they've lost interest. I can never understand that...I never grow bored of Gaz.

Thor is gorgous!! It's a good thing that you got him. Wish I could rescue one of the others but was told by hubby "no more room for tanks!". Oh well maybe when son moves out I will turn his room into a "beardie room". :blob5:

Thank you all! Another update, he is finally eating his salad! At first he only ate the lettus and left out the butternut squash but now thats what he picks out first! He is a big time eater, I get entertainment from putting him on the floor then tossing a cricket infront of him and watching him run! :lol:
