My neighbors bought their daughter 3 anoles this past summer, two green ones and a dark bahamian one. The dad wont buy them a second light bulb.. so they only have a regular one as a basking spot / heat bulb. The bahamian one is no longer brown and its eyes are swollen nearly shut. He looks real pale.. not sure if its just shed time.. or if hes dying.
So .. my question is.. do they need the uvb to survive?
