Leopard gecko tank

Would an 18 by 18 by 12 be suitable for a leopard gecko?
Also, I need to make a list of everything I need... so far I have...

18x18x12 is a little over 15 gallons, which should be OK for a baby or adult, but a 20 gallon long would be the best for an adult. I don't think that one heat pad is going to provide enough heat to create the temperature gradient from 90 degrees (on the hot side) to 75 degrees Fahrenheit (on the cool side) that is appropriate for leopard geckos, unless you also bought a heat emitter that doesn’t provide ANY light. (Night time temperatures shouldn’t be below 65, so 70 is a good example). Make sure to measure your temperatures not just with a stick on thermometer. I would suggest a temp gun and hold it 2 inches above the designated spot to find out the temperature. You need more than one thermometer, one on each side to keep a proper heat gradient, as well as a hygrometer (digital) to accurately keep an eye on your humidity level. I would also recommend digital thermometers since they tend to be more accurate. Hope this helps!
