Best Option for a 10 gallon tank?

Well, I've moved my beardie into its permanent 4x2x2 mansion, and my leopard gecko into its 20 gallon long home. I can't just let my 10 gallon tank go to waste! I was considering a crested gecko (I have a friend that breeds them and is offering a freebie), but I read conflicting opinions regarding if a 10 gallon is large enough. What are some of my best options for reptiles/amphibians that can make their permanent home in a 10 gallon?

A 10 gallon is way too small for a cresty. They need a larger arboreal cage with plenty of room for plants. Something small like a blue tail skink or Egyptian sand lizard would work well or even a small terrestrial type frog, maybe a pacific tree frog.

You could set up a little tank for either a Fire Belly frog or newt. What I did with a spare tank I had was set up a little tank for a red claw crab. It was a fun project including a carved background and little water filter/waterfall.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
