havent posted here in a while, jsut wanted to say I had to give the bearded dragon i was having problems with back to the guy who sold me him. I felt that he would of been better with someone more experience. Anyway, in mid september I got a new dragon ( was actually a younger sibling of the first one) he was a bit shy and jumpy for the first week or so. I actually began to think he had the same problem with eating as the first.
But hes doing great, very very tame. He'll sleep on my shoulder and if I put him on my bed and I sit down on the other end he'll come running over and climb up on me. Hes eating well too, between 20-40 crickets a day. Hes probably a little small for his age (11inch @ 4 months old) but I think that was down to his slow start. But now hes growing very nicely. He was dead on 8 inches on the 4th november, less than a month later hes grown 3 inches. Pretty good as far as im concerned. Anyway. Just thought I'd make a little update.
Cheers to everyone who helped. Gonna be putting him on playsand after xmas and will buy a megaray lamp, feel like spoiling him a bit
Would never of thought that a lizard would have as much or more a personality than say my cats.
