We just got our second beardie yesterday. A beautiful red baby. I have 2 complete set ups for my beardies, but there is a small problem. One of the setups is in my classroom at school. Orion (the dragon formally known as Rosalin until he showed his true self) travels to and from my classroom daily. For now we have the baby in a small 20 gallon set up complete with proper lighting. In 2 weeks when school is out I was planning on bringing the larger enclosure home and then get a new one for my class this fall. In the meantime would there be an issue putting the baby in the Orion's enclosure while Orion is with me at school? This would give the baby more space to stretch out while we're gone. Orion was bullied pretty bad in his old home so I don't want Orion uncomfortable at all. Would Orion know his home was invaded?

I would avoid it and just keep your smaller one in the 20g until other arrangements can be made. They will pick up on each others scents and it could stress them out.

He will be fine in a 20g for the time :)

Thank you! That's kinda what I thought. I just hate to see the baby squished. It's not tame enough yet to get much outside time.

<<< the scent of the older dragon is likely to stress the new hatchling. Thing is dragons don't cope with change , so it's best to keep the mobile dragon's traveling home as constant and unchanging as possible to ensure minimum relocation stressors.

I think you might be better off having a portable rearing tub , the hide and basking branch can fixed permanently in place with self drilling screws , and can be set up like this :https://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=233480

<<<yes , he'll be able smell the scent of the interloper and is likely to react like there is another dragon invading HIS TERRITORY.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
