How Big is Your's

Postby Hammie2496 » Thu Jan 10, 2019 5:26 am

If anyone has a Pogona Henrylawsoni, how big did your's get? I hear they are only supposed to be 12 inches but I really hope not. The lady at the pet store, I know never buy from there, told me he would be 24 inches. Yet if he can only get to 12 inches we will love him no matter what. I know tank size and eating habits matter so ya, I'd like to hear how big your's have gotten😀. Other dragons sizes welcomed as well, I'm trying to get a general feel of each dragon sizes.

The Lawsons dragons do run smaller than the central dragons do. 24'' is large for either of them. My guy is an adult (about 4 years old) and is 18'' long and weighs just over 500g.

Hammie, can you post pics of your dragon ? A true Rankin's will top out at 11 -12" at the most. Here's how to post pics :

So I haven't measured him recently, but this is Chroma. I know his tank is messy, this is due to me wanting to leave him alone while he is shedding. He is in a horrible mood today and has been a butt all day.

Chroma looks good + healthy . :) Did the lady at the store tell you that he's a P. Lawsonii [ aka Rankin's ? } Because he is a normal P.vitticeps. About the size of a 3 month old + has plenty of growing yet.

The lady at petsmart said he was, but then again she was mainly on her phone when talking to us.🤔. That's awesome if he is a p. Vitticeps! I was just excited to get him in general, but I'm trying to figure out how big he will get to make his next tank for him. So we might stick with what every forum on here is saying and go with a 4×2×2 tank. Thank you so much you have been super helpful!
