I got Puff from a friend of mine and she told me Puff was a boy....I noticed him digging a LOT recently so i got him a sandbox to dig his little heart away. So i got home from work today and went to check on him and sure enough there were 5 little eggs in the water bowl. My concern is there are only 5... Ive been reading there should be 14+. She looks super skinny now so I cant imagine there much left in there if anything at all. Can this be normal?

That's quite the surprise! I think the actual number can vary so I wouldn't be too concerned with that. Do try to keep her well hydrated and offer calcium rich foods for her to replenish her calcium after developing the eggs. I would keep the dig box available for a while as they can lay them in batches. She may be done, but not necessarily.

This afternoin I counted 11 including the 5 i found last night. I didn't necessarily want a female beardie because in terrified of the eggs bursting inside of her but it is what it is. Shes very sweet. Everything kinda makes sense now. Haha. I thought she was abnormally small for a male. ?. I'm thinking her new name is either Confusious or Annabelle. She is no longer Pimp Daddy Puff. Lol

See this is why I named one of mine beans :) so even if it is a boy or a girl I won't have to rename them

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
