Letting my juvenile bearded out

Ok so I have had my bearded dragon for about 3 months now I pick him up every day in his enclosure. But every time I try to bring him out he seems like he tries to run alway. Is there any fix for this because I fell like he might run somewhere And I might loose him. Thanks

Exactly how old and how heavy is he ?

Hip harness and leash , or chest harness and leash.

Block off places where he can crawl under , between or behind furnature and doors . Pretty an application of common sense.
