When to start a roach bin?

i'm getting a baby bearded dragon soon, i'm wondering if it is worth establishing a bin now, or waiting till it can eat bigger roaches???

Start it now. You'll need a few months to get it established enough to feed off of it.

my suggestion would be start now as well. Takes 3-6 months for them to start producing in high numbers depending on how many adults you start with.

If you really want to "go big" and get the colony booking Id say 20 males 100 females. But that will hurt the wallet lol.

I agree, start it now! If you start earlier you probably won't need as many to start with either
