   OMG well, I see there was a lot of action while I was not looking!
Some clarification. Someone needs to look closely at the picture and the description. I am, and have been very well aware of the third eye. But thanks for pointing that out Stan. It's good too assume someone might need extra info. And Athenae, wouldn't that way of thinking completely bring down entire professions and institutions, like medicine for example?
Please look at the picture closely and notice how his head looks yellowish compared to the rest of his body which looks brown/tan. And also the tail looks very dull compared to the mid-section. THAT is my question. Why the different tonalities. It's beyond me how someone could possibly link that to the third eye. C'mon is that so hard to see? Oh well... In fact, it is because I have been reading and studying so MUCH that I have developed a kind of new parent paranoia. So many illustrations of beardies with skin problems and fungus and such, whats to say mine didn't catch something I'm still not able to recognize by myself? And no, I did not consider this to be an ER question. My beardie is eating well, poo's quite a bit, and follows me with his eyes everywhere I go.
If that wasn't the case, then I would have posted in ER.
Information and theory is worth nothing without experience. I might know everything there is to know about birdies and still not be able to raise one. The people in this forum represent year after year after year of EXPERIENCE. That is what we come here after. That is what makes a happy beardie.
Wow, worked up a sweat there
Thanks so much for those who stuck out for me and tried to help. I will take it as a "normal-after-shedding-blunder" for now and call it a night.
