Update on pores

Hi! I posted a thread on here about being concerned for my 4 year olds pores. The slate i ordered has finally come !!

Update on pores: looking slightly better but still clogged. Should i put the slate where he usually sleeps or basks? Where would be the best place to put it?
Currently got it where he basks/sometimes falls asleep
