Thinking of Rescuing a beardie!

Havent been on here in awhile...went to the pet store last week and saw this poor little beareded dragon...I looked at its skin and it was burnt and skin in wrinkled....well i was MAD!! almost mad a scene but i decided to leave.... Went back today and the little guy/girl was still there...looked about the same but they are taking care of it from what i can see....they put a price of 60 dollars on the cage...went to the front of the store and asked whats going on with the beareded dragon. LIke i figured they rescued it. I asked if no one takes him/her in a month if they would let me buy her half price ( i understand they wanna make money...blah blah blah) he said prob. Im not too sure if it has MBD or not but maybe a little. I asked if it was getting uvb and he said yes but there is only one light in there. SOOOOO..... I'm kinds nervous about it cuz i dont want anything to go wrong....I just thought the little guy/girl needs a good loving home! I look at Mr be bop and i think of how sad that little one looked my boyfriend said hes one ugly looking guy! lol but a cute ugly!!! So what do u guys think!????? and if you can give me any tips! that would be great!!!

I know how you feel but you have to think of any costs. Like if it has an infections or worms. If you want to spend the money on a vet then I would do it.

I really dont mind spending the money on it....I just payed my car off and have a lot of extra money to do it...thats why im deciding to do it. Just nervous!

Well that's good if you can afford it . I would be nervous too. I think that if you feel it is the right thing to do, do it.

If you have the money, I'd get her out of there now, and not let her sit there another month to save $30.
But that's just my opinion. A month is a long time to any animal that is ill.
