Tail wagging

So today Rango was in the car with me. I put him in the dashboard and he started wagging his tail. This is the 1st time he ever did it. Has anyone else seen or does anybody else’s beardie does this? I’ve attached a video.

This is my first time seeing a wagging tail. I was curious and read that apparently it's a positive thing or that he's alert? Either way Rango is a cutie!

Just be aware that riding with him on the dash is dangerous, any sudden stops can send him flying and then if you've ever had to fish a dragon from under the seat it's not fun. As far the tail wagging they can do this when highly stimulated, ready to fight, nervous, etc.
And yes, Rango IS a cutie.

Snicker Doodle does that once in a while, it's usually when i have her out in the sun. Personally i think it's funny and get a kick outta it.

Thank you. He was up there while the car wasn’t moving. Usually he lays on one of us while the car is in motion.

A few of my beardies wag their tails. One of them does it regularly when he is stalking something - it is adorable but also, on this particular beardie, indicates aggression.

When Snicker Doodles does it she is on high alert, and can display a bit of aggression also. She hasn't done it in a while now though
