So my boy Fawkes has been with us for about a month now.
When we got him, he wasn't eating. We accounted this towards relocation stress. After two weeks of very little eating - we got a fecal float done at the vets. He had Coccidia and was treated appropriately.
It's been two weeks since that, and he's still not eating. He was given three doses of Baycox for the Coccidia, and since then his bloody poo has gone away, and he no longer has a prolapse (I think that's how that is said) when he poos.
It's still rather skinny. I've been giving him a mixture of red banana, bee pollon, and supplements. And a shot of calcium.
The Saturday after his meds, he did EAT! He chased his crickets like crazy. Since, a no go!
I'm just so flustered with this little guy - does anyone have any tips? I'm going to call the vet again soon, and get a second fecal off to see if the Coccidia did go away completely.
Blarg.
