I went and bought some soft stones from home depot today to line Hobbes' cage with. They seem good to use as substrate/liner (each one is 3 by 6 inches), but I was concerned about dust as well as parasites, so I sprayed them with bleach, rinsed them, and then soaked them in the bath tub for 30 minutes then ran the shower to finish rinsing them. Should this have taken care of any potentially harmful dust or do I need to soak them longer?
