Sizing of fixtures?

So I have two 20longs, one 30gal, and one 50gal for my beardies. I am ordering reptisun 10s, but I am worried that the fixture won't fit. I believe a 20long is 30 1/4 long, and the fixture is 30in. Will that fit correctly inside the wall of the tank? Is a 1/4in enough leeway for it? I don't want to stoop down to an 18in light since we will be upgrading their tanks in a few months when they grow.

Why not go with a 24" light if it's 30 inches long? I have never seen a 30 inch fixture before though. My fixtures are about 2 inches longer than the bulb. So my fixture for my 48 inch bulb is actually about 50 inches. And I have other setups (for tortoises and basilisk). Theirs are 24 inch bulbs with 26 inch fixtures.

I have a 75g tank mine is in. The tank is 48 inches long. And I am using a 48 inch reptisun 10.0. I had to place the uvb light diagonally for it to fit. And actually cut off some of the plastic of the fixture. So it will likely be a very tight fit.

If you have the fixture, try putting it in there to see how it goes.

It is a 24'' light, but the fixture for it says its 30''. I'll try going to home depot or menards or something to look for a t8 fixture then. Thanks though!
