Twitch has been acting very strange. Her appetite has cut WAY back. She won't go after crickets, if they are not hand-fed to her she won't eat them. So I've been hand-feeding her a few a day so she's getting SOMETHING which irritates my husband and daughter because they don't want to have to hand-feed her and don't want her to be used to that which makes sense. She'll eat a few worms but I'm out again :banghead: which reminds me need to order worms after this post. She has been off and on with her salad. One day she may eat her whole salad and then no salad for 2 or 3 days in a row. She has been sleeping all day every other day, and on the floor under her basking log, (this is where she sleeps every night) not on it. But then some days she appears fine, basking as normal... yesterday was her best day in 2 weeks, she seemed back to normal! Is she just spoiled and lazy? Does she need less food now that she's 20 inches long? We don't know her exact age for sure but think she's around 10-11 months old. Her weight is fine and her double chin is growing nicely. She has not gone poo since Thurs but went twice on Thurs and 5-7 days in between has been normal for her. I found that her UVA light was malfunctioning last week, and replaced it. Her warm side had only been 88 degrees and I felt so bad! Now her basking spot is 104.4 and her cool side (where she never goes) is 82. The UVA light was changed out a week and a half ago. Her UVB is a Repti-Sun 10.0 and it's only a month and a half old.

Her belly may be upset from the time without proper heat (don't feel bad, I nearly fried mine when I first got her- watched temps closely for 2 days and on the third they went crazy). She also could just be adjusting to an adult diet. My boyfriend's 11 m/o went through a stage where he wanted no crix and would only eat hornworms. We actually JUST realized that his appetite dropped when we moved him into a new tank that put him farther from the UVB so my boyfriend built him up a basking spot getting him about 8" from it and his appetite picked up. We were told that it was probably his age that had made him start cutting back on protein so that could very well be what it is for yours.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
