shedding and this weird digging behavior....

So, Ormie is going to start shedding again...her tail and legs are all pale and colorless...and she's lost most of her appetite - well, her usual appetite, she ate about 4 butterworms today but that's it, no veggies. She's still doing her regular poos and she's been getting fluids...and while I realize some appetite cessation is normal, maybe I just need reassurance it will get back to normal?

I bought a scale tonight to weigh her to make sure she doesn't lose too much weight but the scale didn't work...have to return/exchange it tomorrow asap.

Also she's been doing this weird digging behavior - she has just recently started doing this...she did it in her bath today, she does it in her viv at some points in the day (which is PLENTY large enough) and she even scratched through a layer of her newspaper. I have no idea why she is doing this....I try taking her out when she is scratching, but she's usually pretty restless and I have to put her back right away.

here's a pic of what she did today - this is the first time she's done this....she's not constantly digging, but every once in awhile lately she just digs digs digs....vet says she's too young to be digging b/c of egg laying but didn't really have another explanation either. anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

The only think I can think of is egg laying, or shes looking for a place to curl up and sleep...
