I am curious as to how those of you that breed Dubias separate the nymphs from the breeders? Is there a special way or a trick to doing it that will make it easier??
Thank you!

2 buckets. 1 with a bunch of 1/2" holes drilled in the bottom.

Put ALL the dubia in the bucket with the holes, while holding it above the other bucket (or plastic bin). Shake until all the little guys fall through the holes. Anything smaller than 1/2" will fall through.

Drill bigger or larger holes, depending on the size you'd like to sort. You can even stack multiple buckets with descending hole sizes to sort multiple sizes.

I personally just pick out all the adults by hand haha. I just put a little tub in the dubia tub and start picking em out. I used to have a feeding bin and thats how i got the nypmhs in the feeding bin but have them all in one so dont do it anymore. If you dont wanna touch them do what the person above me said. 2 buckets and have the top one drilled with holes just big enough for the nymphs to fall through :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
