Semi-Brumation??

I just had a question about my beardie. In the summer, Puff would usually go to sleep around 9 pm, now tho, he's been going to bed at like, 6:30-7 pm. He's not quite a year, so I don't think it's brumation. Is this normal? I think its fine, but just wondering if this is something that happens during winter (aside from brumation)

It's very possible that he's showing a signs of semi-brumation. But, just to be safe, have you double checked the temps since the season has changed? If not, I suggest you do that to make sure they aren't too warm. What type of thermometer are you using? Also, what brand & type of UVB do you have, what is the distance of it and how old is it?

Well, for the thermometer, I'm using a Zoo-Med digital thermometer. For UVB I have a compact Zoo-Med Repti-sun 10 uvb lamp. It's not old at all...... cause a while back in May me and some friends went away for the week-end and left my beardie with a good friend (he stayed at our house) but he broke the uvb on the first day and we had REALLY bad cell reception so we didnt get his message till the day we were leaving so we had to scramble home (he also drained our water tank and almost killed our chickens....). We used to have a Zilla 12 watt uvb but he broke it so we tried going to the store where we bought it but they closed down, so we tried every other local store but no one had that light so we had to buy this one. the distance is around 7 inches. So its about 5 months old. So yea, thats it. And since my last post, he's been going to bed at more like 5-6:30...

You might try changing his uvb source. Those compact bulbs arent very good.
