Proper UVB Light distance?

I am looking to put a UVB light fixture inside of my beardie's terrarium. The light that I am planning on using is a Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB T5HO 22' fluorescent tube. By my measurements, the spot that I plan to put it should be 9-10 inches from my beardie's basking spot. I am not using any kind of reflector. Does this sound like a safe distance to put the light?

That should be about right if you aren't using a fixture that has a reflector.
