Some people have had good luck portioning out full salads into an ice cube tray with a top or other similar sealable container and just thawing out small pieces as needed. I typically wash and trim greens when I get them home from the store and then put them in a ziploc bag (usually in large pieces about the size of my hand) with a folded paper towel and then just remove the air and put them in the crisper drawer. Then I take out a piece and cut it up as needed. As mentioned, some greens hold up better than others, but I can get a week or two (more for things like collards, less for things like dandelion greens) storing them this way.
