I got my bearded dragon about a week ago, at first I noticed nothing wrong with him. But at a second look I saw that two of his toes on his back foot were hanging off I don't have in housed with another lizard or crickets for long periods of time. I started putting neosporin on to try to keep it from getting infected and that's why it looks darker than it really does, but I my have been to late. Hopefully the pictures below can show what I'm talking about.
I'm trying to post the picture, I will soon. Photobucket is giving me problems :/
You can't see in the picture but the toes are not all black, there is only a bit of black below the toe, which I'm having a hard time telling if it's just apart of his pattern or if it's an infection. And one of the toes looks like it's been dead for so long you can see the bone through his skin. So I guess my questions are
Should I remove the toes since they are hanging off by skin or just leave them?
I want to take him to the vet but I can't if the cost is too high, I just got him and I can't spend that kind of money right now, so if anybody knows how much antibiotics, average vet visit, etc for something like this is please let me know.
