Here is Rog, 4 months old. He was with 2 other beardies at Petsmart. We bought him and he was fairly happy. He ate 3 big crickets his first day, hunting them down.

This a picture from when we got him.

However, the next day he didn't eat anything (including the next 5 days). Finally then he ate 3 Waxworms, all hand fed. Then he didn't eat for the next 4 days again, ignoring crickets, babyfood, greens. Then we got him Phoenixworms and he ate them for 3 days (5 the first, 20 the next, 20 the one after). Then he stopped eating. It's been 5 days now and he hasn't eaten anything. We give him baths, so he does get water.

At this point we are ready to go to a vet but we dont want to pay so much. We can see he is healthy outside, but he might have worms so maybe we should take a fecal of him. I have the feeling it's either worms, or he is not adjusting well. He might be lonely.. He NEVER leaves his rocks except for when he poops. See a picture of him we took today (he is skinny).

Our temperatures are 105-110 (at the focal point, I guess a little hotter but he doesn't go there unless he is wet, he knows how hot he wants it, plus we usually set the light so that the focal point is not on the rocks but the carpet at which it's not that hot). The cool area is 70's, during the night it doesn't get colder than 67.

Here is the terrarium:

Temperatures were taken with a probe. UVB is Reptisun 10.0. Basking Bulb is 100w by MedZoo.

Any tips appreciated, we just don't know what's wrong with him he is getting so much love and care..

I have a couple of questions that may help us to figure out what's wrong, if anything. What uvb do you have? What do you take your temps with? (such as a round stick on or a digital thermometer with probe?

O.k. from the pics, it looks like you have a tube uvb light, is that correct? If so, that's good. What tube uvb do you have? There are some that don't give good uvb and other's that are better. The Reptisun 10 tube is the best one I know of available in the US. If you are in the UK you can get one called the Arcadia 12%. This is a little better than the Reptisun 10 tube. Also, if you are taking the temps with a round stick-on, they could be as much as 20 degrees off, which means he could be really hot or too cold to be hungry and want to digest.

The uvb you have is good and the temps are good. Just to let you kow, the reptisun 10 needs to be between 6 and 8 inches from your beardie's basking spot. That could be the problem. When we first got Goldie, she lost her appetite when her reptisun 10 had been in use for about 4.5 months or so. She gained back her appetite when we replaced her reptisun 10.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
