outdoor enclosure

The screen was hand sown to the pvc piping that makes up the 3rd side or what is used as the door. It has lasted this long without letting go. I used 10 pound test fishing line. anyone have a better way of doing this ? The screen isn't as tight as I would like it, thought of drilling some holes in the framework and adding a piece of wood to strengthen it ? Any thoughts ?
