As some of you may know i was going to take mr be bop to my work...i'm a cna so i work with the elderly....So my one resident isnt doing so good :0( She doesnt have much longer to live so i went and showed him to her and she got SOOOO EXCITED! So i had to let her hold him...he fell alseep on her chest and she had the biggest smile on her face!! PRICELESS MOMENT! Omg i almost cried!!! She held him for a half hour!! he stayed asleep and she seemed so peaceful :0). too bad i'm not allowed to take pics :0( Most residents and MOSTLY co workers were scared of him! Ill make fun of them tomorrow hehe. But Ill be taking him in every week to have the one resident that sick hold him and cuddle with him!! :blob8:

It's true sometimes the residents don't know what they are interacting with, and it doesn't seem to matter. We have miniature horses in here a few times a year and some of the residents think they are really big dogs. :dontknow: It really doesn't matter what they think they are, as long as they are having fun and being brought out of their rooms and out from in front of the TV. Their lives can be so routine-oriented, which is good for them if they have memory issues, but they still get bored just like the rest of us.
