No interest in human food (besides normal diet)

Did anyone notice that their beardie doesn't try to grab human food the way a dog would attempt to do?
Besides eating a plant once, my beardies don't try to grab my food. I wonder if they think I am a bad cook and they simply aren't interested.

(Well humans feel otherwise LOL)

Our Taco looks when we eat spaghetti, linguine or (large) prawn :D

(He has never tried to grab food as he is always in his enclosure when we eat - for various reasons, such as I don't want him to eat human food, I don't want to run away from my meal to put him back in his enclosure/ under a basking lamp, and I don't want to get him dirty if he would get into the food or I had to grab him with hands dirty from eating.)

Decades ago I had birds (budgies, parakeets) and they tried to eat off the plate, tried to drink out of mugs and glasses and tried to reach into chips bags. (Prevented this of course and gave them no human food that does not overlap with what he was supposed to eat. We had to be careful because of their behavior.)

Your beardies are well taken care of. If they weren't fed enough they probably would try to grab your food.

Foxy will never touch human food. His terrarium is in the dining room and sometimes he asks to come outside to hang out with us while we eat. In this case, we let him sit with us, we give him a separate place at the table and put some greens, very often it works, he sees that everyone is eating and starts eating the greens, which doesn’t happen so often. Yes, he is little spoiled. :D

Wow, thanks for sharing. Here I am with one of those moments. I eat with Rocky on my lap if I had a snack. He can careless. If it's chips wuthering a smell like sour cream and onion, he smacks his lips then runs away. I thought it's because it smelled.

Wow, they really could grab my food. Greedy Ruby never tried. I told my friends they are smart and know the difference. I can leave a plate and watch them, they don't touch it. I don't do it often and I know better now. Wow wow wow

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
