Help - people just delivered a dragon and she's jaundiced and very flaccid. I soaked her and she barfed. I just gave her IV fluids but she's pretty much limp. What else can I do? I doubt she's gonna make it thru the night.
Oh my gosh. I'm sorry. I don't have a clue what you can do besides keeping her warm and hydrated. Others will. If it was me, I would just hold her and love her, and make her as comfortable as possible. I'm praying for you and your new girl.
It doesn't take long to fall in love with someone who cares for you. She knows you are good and kind. I would take her to bed with me and just put her by my pillow and stroke her. She will probably sleep, too. Not good to stay up all night with the new job. If she goes, she will be with someone who cares.
I'm so, so sorry that you received the poor little creature in such condition ! You really did what you could. I know it hurts you....thankfully she feels no pain anymore and was with a kind person in her last moments, and will not suffer another second.
Very sorry to hear this, I too lost my beardie, Myrtle, today. They are so easy to love. It's so awesome that she got to spend her last time with someone who has a loving heart for her.
I'm sorry to hear about your beardie. I know it's hard to lose a pet. We just lost my other rescue after months of nursing him. You guys were awesome at keeping my spirits up with my little Flipper.
It's never easy. Never.
So sorry she didn't make it, but as already said, she was with a kind loving person in the end, and that makes all the difference! Thank heavens for people like you who step up and show love to needing little creatures.
Also very sorry to hear about Myrtle!!
I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
