We are not new to beardies. My husband and I got Yoshi August 2011 and Aurora November 2011. Both of these beardies took maybe 1-3 days to get used to their new home and pretty much started eating right away.

We got Grendel from a local pet store on June 10th, so he's only been with us a little less than a week. When we got him, he had been at the pet store for about 2 weeks. They got him from a breeder in Florida, so he flew in a plane here to PA. The petstore was feeding him crickets, lettuce and mealworms which we told them that the lettuce and mealies weren't good for beardies. His age isn't known. The only thing we do know is he is a male and he is about 17 inches from nose to tip of tail.

He has his own set up just like each of our other beardies.
40g breeder, 100w heat bulb, He will have a Reptisun 10.0 uvb which should be here today, a hide, platform on cool side to hide or sit on, nonadhesive shelf liner, 1 thermometer with probe on hot side and one thermometer on cool side both measure humidity

We waited 4 days before handling him and also gave him a little soak, which he did actually drink some water from his bath.

Every day we have offered him crickets, a wax worm and even tried reptiworms. We have also offered greens. He's only eaten maybe about half dozen crickets and a few bites of greens.

We realize that he is probably going through some major relocation stress considering he has moved to a different state and a new home within the course of a few weeks. We are just curious if there is anything we can do to make him feel more relaxed and secure so that he can start eating. He definitely has some weight on him and we want to make sure he stays healthy. Not knowing his age is also making this a bit tricky because we want to make sure he's getting the right foods.
Here's a pic of him. It should give a slight idea of Grendel's size.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions. :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
